The Area 58 Board of Directors is made up of representatives from the towns of Carver, Halifax and Plympton. It is re-organized annually, with members generally serving three year terms once they have been appointed by their respective town’s Boards of Selectmen. After the initial terms, the members of the board are then either re-appointed by the board of selectmen or voted in by the membership from that town.
The board oversees the Executive Director and acts as the executive office for the corporation.
As of January 2016, the board is comprised of five members from Carver, four from halifax and two from Plympton.
The officers are: President, Vice-President, Treasurer and Clerk/Recording Secretary.
